We have contributed in numerous ways to the development of cricket in Brandon, and vastly responsible for promoting the worlds second largest sport to the people of Westman. We participate as a local club representing the city of Brandon in provincial cricket tournaments all across Manitoba. The club is focused on developing young players and individuals unfamiliar with the sport and making them the future leaders of the club.

We like to ensure that young players have a great future in this club and all of it's activities. Brandon Cricket Club is one of the only clubs in the province that enrols players from all ages, and its executives provide opportunity and encouragement to any and all up and coming cricketers.

Our Mission for 2009:

  Previous Years 2009
Pitch/Ground Practices are held at the Kirkcaldy Heights School ground. It is a regular school field with some bumps and uneven surface. No practice pitch mat is installed. To create a suitable cricket pitch in Brandon where cricket enthusiasts of all ages are welcome to play in a professional, safe and friendly environment. Practices will continue to be held at the Kirkcaldy Heights School ground until further notice.
Equipment Team equipment consists of most essentials such as bats, balls, batting pads, batting gloves, wicket keeping gloves and pads, etc. With the summer season beginning, the club has some new bats, batting pads, gloves, and wicket keeping gloves.
Fees Due to the lack of funding in previous years, fees ranged around $100. Thanks to the generous corporate sponsorship by Double Decker, and with the increase of cricket enthusiasm around Westman, summer season fees have been dropped from previous years and will range from $30-$50.
